NIB Chorale Executives Call On Chief Patron

Executives of the National Investment Bank (NIB) choir otherwise referred to as NIB Chorale have on behalf of the bank’s highly revered group of singers paid a courtesy call on the Managing Director (MD) of the bank Mr. Samuel Sarpong. This visit according to the Executives led by the President, Clement Yao Amedume was important as the MD is also the Chief Patron and Sponsor of the choir.

Framed Photograph Presentation

Presenting a beautifully Framed Photograph of the MD with a well inscribed Congratulatory Note, the Choir President asserted that ‘Executives of the choir had much earlier planned a visit subsequent to your appointment, but we upon several discussions thought it most prudent to allow you some time-off to enable you fully settle in your most critical and highly arduous role.”

Mr. Amedume added that, “this visit is also aimed at officially welcoming you to the choir as our Chief Patron and Sponsor. We again seize the opportunity to invite you to this year’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, and to say Thank You for the approval to have it organized in December.”

MD’s Response

Receiving the frame, Mr. Sarpong expressed his profound gratitude for the gesture recounting that, “I am always filled with joy and excitement anytime I meet young people like you so committed and zealous about music. I really love music even though I don’t think I have a good voice. I won’t quit singing though.”

The MD noted that banking generally is quite demanding, hence requires a fusion of activities that help staff perform their daily tasks, and also relax. “A well relaxed and happy staff is almost always certain to perform at optimum, so I was highly thrilled when I heard you guys sing for the first time at the Staff Durbar held in June this year. I believe you can help Staff and Stakeholders alike quell their stress with musical performances, so I encourage you to press on,” Mr. Sarpong emphasized.
