NIB wins 2nd edition of Bankers League
The annual football league which is aimed primarily at fostering the habit of healthy physical activity among bankers commenced in April 2019 and ended on Saturday 18th May 2019. It is the second in the series, organized by the Bankers Football League Company Ltd, BFL.
The Investors FC at the end of an eight-week contest beat competition from Five (5) other banks including Stanbic, Access, Republic, First Atlantic and the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to lift the coveted trophy.
Receiving the giant trophy (Gold) from the team’s captain George Mettle, the Managing Director Mr. Samuel Sarpong congratulated the team, Investors FC for winning this year’s league. He urged the team to let the zeal that inspired them to win, manifest in every aspect of their work life.
