NIB Extends Condolences and Support to Ga Community

National Investment Bank (NIB), on Thursday, 10th October, 2023, paid a courtesy call to the Paramount Chief of the Ga Traditional Council in Accra to express their condolences and offer support towards the funeral of the late Ga Manye. The visit, coupled with a cash donation and assorted drinks, demonstrate NIB’s commitment as a responsible corporate entity and an integral part of the Ga community.

The late Ga Manye, Naa Dedei Omaedru III, an influential figure within the Ga community, was the custodian of Ga culture and traditions. Her recent passing marked a profound loss to the Ga people and was a moment of collective mourning.

The delegation which was led by Mr Samuel Sarpong, Managing Director and Mr Tweneboa Kodua Fokuo, Deputy Managing Director, expressed their profound respect for the customs and traditions of the Ga people and reaffirmed their dedication to stand by the community during this period of grief.

To further demonstrate their commitment and support, NIB made a donation of cash to assist in covering the funeral expenses, and also provided some beverages, water and a box of Castle Bridge to be used during the funeral ceremony. This gesture serves as a clear sign of NIB’s commitment to its role as a responsible corporate citizen and a source of strength for the Ga community during this trying time.

In response to NIB’s visit and generous contribution, Paramount Chief Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II expressed his sincere gratitude to the delegation. He commended NIB for their thoughtfulness and benevolence during this period of mourning and thanked them for their dedication to the preservation and celebration of Ga culture and traditions.
